When it comes to Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, these are our best custom crops. We love the style, the set, and the sale price.
You can grow a lot of different crops in each season of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Most of them are special crops that need two levels of crop fusion to make. To make these third-generation crops, you might need four grandparents crops. But they’re worth it because they have fun themes and interesting traits when they’re harvested.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life lets you name all of your custom crops after they fuse. There are also a lot of different combos you can ask Vinnie to make. Here are our choices for the best custom crops.
Sports-Balls: Custom Crops 34-36
Sully and Hugh, two of the players who live in Forgotten Valley, might be happy to know that three of the custom crops in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life are based on different ball sports. There are lots of sports toys in the yard, like a basketball, a football, and a green soccer ball.
Each one takes a while to grow and can be grown at different times of the year. Summer is the only season that doesn’t have a custom crop tied to sports. But these bright veggies might do better on your plate than in the field.
Tea Party Set: Custom Crops 30 And 31
With one being a teapot and the other a teacup, these cute handmade crops go together like peanut butter and jelly for the cutest tea party in the fields. It looks like your farm is always ready for a tea party if you grow them next to each other in the third field.
Encyclopedia.com calls the teacup “the finest, most sophisticated crop,” and you can see it steaming in the field when it’s time to pick it. On the other hand, the teapot moves around a bit when it’s time to pick it up.
Bells And Whistles: Custom Crops 10-13
In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you can grow something that sounds like a symphony. This will make music fans happy. When you walk up to these four crops and ask if they’re ready to be picked, they all make lovely instrument sounds, turning your field into a music hall.
A bell sound comes from Custom Crop 10, a maraca-like rattle from Custom Crop 11, a clear cymbal sound from Custom Crop 12, and a whistle sound from Custom Crop 10. For anyone married to Gustafa or Lumina, the singers, there is a cool garden just for them.
The Peanut: Custom Crop Three
A lot of the custom crops in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life look like real food. For example, the eggplant, garlic, and cabbage leaf all look like real foods. But we think Custom Crop Three, the peanut, is the best.
Breakout Game refers to the plant as a “nutty crop” and says, “you’ve got to crack its tough shell to get to the edible bits.” The plant takes almost the whole season to grow. Even the recipes that use it have something to do with peanuts.
Sweet Treats: Custom Crops 27-29
It’s funny that right next to the tea party crops we talked about earlier, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has three crops that are all about desserts. You can not only host the tea party, but you can also bring cake!
It’s called Custom Crop 27 and it looks like a wrapped candy bar. It tastes fruity and is “sweet and sugary.” It’s “crunchy texture [that] makes it takes like it’s freshly baked!” the star-shaped Custom Crop 28 says. Last but not least, the Custom Crop 29 in the shape of a donut is said to be “perfectly sweet.”
Day And Night Ginger: Custom Crops 23 And 24
Even though the second-gen hybrid crops you use to make Custom Crops 23 and 24 are the same, you might end up with two custom crops that are close but not the same when you fuse them. And the Encyclopedia articles say that the color of ginger you get depends on what time of day you fuse the crop.
You can fuse with this mix from 6 AM to 5:59 PM and get Custom Crop 24. Vinnie will give you Custom Crop 23 with the fusion from 6 PM to 5:59 AM, though.
Seasonal Colored Bulbs: Custom Crops 18-21
This fits with the idea that the Custom Crops you grow in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life should have a theme. Custom Crops 18–X21 are four different colored lightbulb crops that shine brightly when they’re harvested.
Because they all grow in different seasons and take almost the whole season to do so, it will take you a year to get all of them. When you do, though, your collection will be at its best!
Rainbow Disco Ball: Custom Crop 32
Custom Crop 32 has all the songs you need, even though Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has a lot of different records to find. When they’re ready to be picked, these dancing balls bounce around and shine in almost every color, making the whole field feel fun.
It is even called “a sparkling crop whose flowers like to boogie” in the Encyclopedia. It says that A-Rank crops have a “funky flavor.” People have said that this fun Custom Crop tastes “spicy and sour,” but we think it’s more like sweet.
