These other characters work well with this powerful DPS.
Sushang from Honkai: Star Rail is a character that is filled with power; he does a lot of physical damage very quickly. She can do more than one thing during her turn, and when an enemy is broken, she goes faster. Sushang can only do physical damage, but the way of the hunt makes sure that the person she hits takes all of that damage.
Sushang’s ultimate is both funny and powerful: she calls up what looks like a huge chicken to attack her enemies and crush them beneath. She works best as the main DPS on a team, but she needs to be protected because her life and defense aren’t always good.
Because of the way of the Hunt, Sushang can only hurt one enemy at a time. You might want to add someone like Serval to the team who can do AoE damage. It will help keep the fights fair and prevent you from getting stuck on which enemy to hit or being too weak if more enemies appear on the battlefield.
Since Serval is on the path of Erudition, she can use her lightning power to hit groups of enemies at once instead of single targets. The lightning damage she does gives Sushang’s team some much-needed variety, as it gives you another way to try to break enemy shields.
Even though Serval probably won’t catch up to or even beat Sushang in damage, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to make her stronger, whether with Light Cones or Relics. In most cases, your Sub-DPS should still be able to do more damage than support characters.
Sushang might hit hard, but her health isn’t great. For your team to work well, you need a good doctor. You can choose between Bailu and Natasha. Natasha is the better choice in the end, though, since Bailu has to be pulled into the gacha by luck alone.
You can get her for free on Jarilo-VI by finishing the main story. All you have to do is play the game. Natasha follows the path of the Abundance and gives physical damage. When she’s paired with Sushang, it’s better to focus on improving her defense rather than her attack.
I think Sushang should do the damage, and Natasha should help her and the rest of the team.
Pela is a great support character because she does a lot of ice damage and takes away your enemies’ buffs by lowering their shields. While she won’t do as much damage as Sushang, Pela does a lot of damage with ice, which is a nice plus.
For the simple reason that ice is one of the most common weaknesses, you should make Pela a regular, if not permanent, member of your team. Because she makes it easy for your team to deal more critical hits, she works well with any team that wants to do a lot of damage. Sushang will fully take over the field if Pela is on his side.
If you can get Bronya, the best support character in Penalty Kick Online, don’t be afraid to level her up and make her a constant or almost permanent member of your team. She can remove debuffs from other party members and make everyone stronger when they fight.
Specifically improving Sushang’s moves will make her a battlefield beast, and you’ll probably never get tired of the rush you get from tearing through fight after fight. That being said, Bronya should try to find a good mix between her attack and defense because she can do a good amount of damage with the right relics and light cone.
Gepard mostly acts like a tank, taking hits like they’re nothing. It seems that just being around him makes your enemies want to attack him, though this is partly because of his skills. His role as a tank is to both fight and help the other characters. He does a lot of damage and protects them at the same time.
So powerful is it that when he uses his final ability, it gives everyone on the team a shield. Sushang can’t take many hits in a row before the healer has to step in, so having a tank like Gepard on your team is helpful. At the very least, it will keep people from focusing on Sushang.
Gepard can handle being hit (a lot). A Sushang that is still alive is a good Sushang.
As a sub-DPS character, Welt is great because he does a lot of damage and because if you walk the path of Nihility, he can briefly slow down your enemy with his skill and then disable them with his ultimate. Given that Sushang can take more than one turn in a round, she has pretty much complete freedom on the battlefield during this time.
You can kill attackers with Welt-Sushang before they can even think about what happened. Welt can also do Imaginary damage, which lets you break enemies that are weak to it. This happens surprisingly often, considering how few characters can do it.
You’ll need to be very lucky to get Welt in the gacha or make enough pulls on the Regular warp to be able to pick him out as payment.
